PlayLab is a creative indoor playspace/playground for infants, toddlers, and young children, with locations in Eagle Rock and Hollywood. Our playspaces are special places where young kids can explore and experiment with all different kinds of play.

Thoughtfully designed by early childhood and play experts, PlayLab’s indoor playgrounds encourages curiosity, open exploration, and socializing with friends. We are also a wonderful birthday and event venue for your celebrations, and love to work with hosts to design their dream parties- check out our past party gallery here!

open play

We offer open play hours, Monday through Friday, 9am-7pm. If we don’t have party reservations on Saturdays or Sundays, we have open play hours on those days as well. To check the current and upcoming open play hours, please see our calendar (click here for Eagle Rock or Hollywood).

Admission is $12 per child (no charges for adults, though we ask that you limit your visit to 2 adults maximum). You can stay as long as you like- no time limits- and enjoy return privileges all day long (to BOTH PlayLab locations!) You can also save money by becoming a member, or buying a 5 or 10 pack of our day passes.

We will have a limit of 40 people in the space at any one time, so we recommend you call prior to your visit to see if we have room.

We clean our toys throughout the day and wipe down surfaces, to make sure our place stays healthy and clean as possible.

day passes

Day passes allow in and out privileges all day long (at BOTH Playlab locations!), on days we have open play hours (9am-7pm, Monday through Friday). On weekends, we may have parties that affect open play availability. For complete open play hours, check our calendar).

  • Day Passes: $12 per child (adults are free, though we ask you limit your group to a maximum of 2 adults)

  • Five Pack: $55 ($11 per day pass; a savings of $5)

  • Ten Pack: $100  ($10 per day pass; a savings of $20)

birthday parties & events

We throw amazing birthday parties at PlayLab! Check out our gallery. Custom designs, decor, and themes are also available- we’ll create a party to fit your desires! Both locations are wonderful spots to host your events, and very versatile, so you can create the celebration you’re dreaming of.

We offer three basic options:

  • 3 Hours: $600

  • 3 1/2 Hours: $700

  • 4 Hours: $800

PlayLab Eagle Rock is located at 1431 Colorado Blvd, Eagle Rock CA 90041. We have 3 parking spots in front of the building (right off Colorado), and there is plentiful street parking surrounding the area.

PlayLab Hollywood is located at 1510 N Kenmore Ave, Hollywood CA 90027. There are 2 dedicated parkings spots in our parking lot available for our guests, and neighborhood street parking is also available. We are also right next to the parking garage for Kaiser Permanente, so paid parking is available there as well, and then it’s a just short walk to our door.

playlab policies

  • For the health and safety of everyone who visits PlayLab’s indoor playspace, children and adults, with visible signs of illness (cough, runny nose, rash, fever, etc) will be asked to visit PlayLab when they feel better.

  • You must sign a waiver for yourself and child, when visiting for the first time. (Click here for Hollywood, and here for Eagle Rock.)

  • PlayLab is a parent-supervised indoor playspace. Parents/caregivers are required to be responsible for their children at all times; PlayLab does not provide childcare services or supervision. At no time is PlayLab or its staff responsible for any child.

  • We realize and respect that every caregiver has their own parenting style. To help maintain the safety of children and adults at PlayLab, we ask that if you observe any challenging, unsafe, or unrespectful behavior, to inform a staff member.

  • While our space is designed for ages 0-5, we sometimes get older children visiting PlayLab. Sometimes we have been asked to enforce an age limit, which we cannot do. However, older children are welcome to visit PlayLab as long as they are able to play in a safe manner around our younger visitors. If they are behaving in ways that endanger or could potentially harm a young child (such as running, throwing toys, etc), we may ask that family to leave.

  • No pets or animals, please. Only registered service animals are allowed at PlayLab.

  • Celebrations during open play hours are not allowed at PlayLab. So, please no cake, presents, singing, etc. However, we are available for private parties and other events; learn more here.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • Prices and policies are subject to change without notice.

photography policy

We welcome photography at PlayLab!  Have fun filming and photographing your family's time here.   We simply ask:

  • Please be sensitive to the privacy of other families, and take pictures of only your children.

  • Please do not photograph other children without the permission of their parents.
